The Military History Library located in the lower level of the Veterans Museum at Balboa Park (VMBP) has an extensive collection of videos in both VHS and DVD formats. These videos are used selectively in various museum exhibits to enhance their appearance and to provide relevant information to the interested visitor. In addition, as part of your VMBP membership privileges, we welcome museum members and their guests to visit our library during our opening hours 11 to 3 on Thursdays to view these videos at the museum.
Our military history collection generally encompasses the key events in our history from the Revolutionary War period up to and including Desert Storm and Afghanistan.
Our primary selections in our video collection are World War II, covering key military events in both the Pacific and European theaters, and the Vietnam War.
